Carmela J. Luzi PA-C

Carmela J. Luzi, PA-C was born and raised in Southbury, Connecticut.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Wheaton College located in Norton, Massachusetts in 2012. In 2015, she graduated cum laude from the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute.

Carmela is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

“My patients can expect that I understand they are trusting me with their care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I make a concerted effort to take the time to listen to my patients’ concerns, and stay abreast of the latest treatments so I can foster the best possible outcome for them. In my opinion the most important factor in the provider/patient relationship is that their care is a partnership. Dermatological care, at times, requires a regimen that takes time and patience. Discussing various options with my patients and having honest conversations about treatment regimens that they can commit to is helpful for both patient and provider.”

During her free time, Carmela enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her family, and friends. She loves traveling, taking long walks, spending time by the ocean.” When I have time, I very much like to bake. It's therapeutic and delicious!
