Beth A. Buscher MD

Dr. Beth A. Buscher was born and raised in New York State. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in  Worcester, Massachusetts in 1989. While in college, she was elected to the Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from New York Medical College in 1993, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.


After completing an internship in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York in 1994, Dr. Buscher did a residency in dermatology at the University of Rochester where she was appointed chief resident. During her dermatology residency, she participated in several clinical dermatology research  projects as well as elective conferences involving all dermatologic lasers.


Dr. Buscher was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1997. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.


Dr. Buscher’s medical interests include cosmetic injectables such as Botox and fillers and laser treatments for skin discolorations, hair removal, skin resurfacing,

and tattoo removal.


Dr Buscher’s goal is to provide outstanding medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological care for patients of all ages. She understands the tremendous impact skin diseases can have on physical and mental health and strives to deliver compassionate and thoughtful care.


Dr Buscher hopes to create a comfortable and respectful environment for all her patients. She believes patient education is an important aspect of dermatology and she takes the time to ensure her patients understand their skin concerns, treatmentoptions and treatment plan.


In her free time, Dr Buscher enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and painting. She lives in Newtown with her husband and two sons.
